In 1887, James Oliver started making tough, durable work boots for farmers and miners in the goldmining region of Ballarat in Victoria. Having failed at his own quest for gold, he returned to the trade of boot-making to establish the business of Oliver & Stevens. Oliver Footwear is now led by Andrew Oliver, a fourth generation descendant of its founder who is undoubtedly proud to mark the 125th anniversary of the company in 2012.

  • COMFORTcushion® Impact Absorption Provides superior cushioning and shock absorption helping to reduce foot, leg and back fatigue.
  • NATUREform Type 1 Toe Cap. The Oliver cap has a wide profile to suit your foot and is added with a latex cushion liner to ensure the toes are comfortable and not in contact with the cap. Caps are tested to a force of 200 Joule in accordance with the Australian Standard AS/NZS2210.3.
  • SAFETYcell® Protection Fully integrated TPU (Thermo Plastic Urethane) shell offers enhanced abrasion and cut resistance from harsh working conditions.
  • Antistatic Minimises the build-up of electrostatic charges and provides protection against the risk of spark ignition for such hazards as flammable materials and gases.
  • Sole Penetration Protection - Offers the reduced risk of sharp objects penetrating the sole and entering the foot.
  • Metatarsal protection-Provides increased protection against the risk of impact and crush injuries. Metatarsal guards coupled with safety toe caps offer complete fore foot protection.

Very comfortable boots and very hard wearing. Working at a mine site boots need to be very durable and these boots and so far proving worthy! They have also been comfortable from day 1 unlike other boots that often need to be worn in
