Bamboo Textiles Australia, based in the hinterlands of Queensland's Sunshine Coast is owned by business partners Bernie Kath and John Henriksen. It is only in relatively recent times that the technology was developed to separate and utilise bamboo fibre for textiles and in 2005, Bernie and John began designing and testing clothing made from this unique fabric.

Bamboo fibre has amazing qualities of having excellent strength, shape stability, washability, colour and shrink fastness and being exceptionally comfortable against the skin. It is also naturally bacteria inhibiting and is absorbent and breathable. WorkwearHub bring you a selection of products made from this truly unique and sustainable textile.

Bamboo Charcoal Fibre has the advantage of absorbing toxins through the soles of your feet. In a similar way charcoal absorbs toxins when administered as an oral poisoning antidote. Its loosely fitting top is totally non-restrictive to circulation and is therefore suitable for diabetics or people with circulation problems. Another health benefit of the charcoal is that it re-radiates far infrared rays which is very beneficial for cell metabolism and rejuvenation. The bamboo charcoal fibre is restricted to the grey sole section of the sock only.
