Bolle Safety Glasses

The first pair of safety goggles and masks were made by Bollé in 1950, 62 Years after the brands creation. Yes, you read this correctly – the brand was first established in 1888, 134 Years ago. Needless to mention the history and experience that has been established in that period. In 1956 Georges Bollé created the nylon ‘cat-eye’ sunglass and the first cycling specific sunglasses has been established. In 1960, the first ski goggles were first marketed by Bollé.

Throughout the 1970s, Bollé continued to invest in and develop protective eyewear, eventually moving into PPE eyewear for industrial work environments.
